Description : |
- Provide operational support to key environments
including user account management, workflow, log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization.
- Work with data centers to provide trouble free access.
- Remotely monitor and maintain the servers.
- Handle customer support via support desk ticket system.
- Handle SSL installation, DNS configurations, automate server backups and implement disaster management for highest uptime levels.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in IT in an enterprise NT/Win2k/Win2k3 environment.
- 1 to 2 years experience in a Support role
preferable.
- BS / MS degree with Computer Technology emphasis or equivalent experience.
- MCSE for Windows 2000 certification.
- Extensive experience administering 2000, NT 4.0, Active Directory, Exchange 2000/2003, SQL and IIS.
- Proficiency in Internet protocols and standards such as LDAP, SMTP, ESMTP, TCP/IP, POP3, FTP, and NNTP.
- Thorough understanding of current LAN & WAN technologies.
- Thorough understanding of the Internet, and name resolution including WINS & DNS.
- Working experience with SQL Server 2000.
- Very strong skills in security, network, and internet technologies.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently, and as part of a
cross-functional team.
- Readiness to work in night shifts.
